This is the heart of IHP. Members pay in regularly; when someone needs treatment, the pool covers approved costs at partner clinics and hospitals. It works because the burden is shared, not dumped on one household.
How to joinChildbirth is one of the most expensive moments in a village household. We support mothers with antenatal education, delivery supplies and the Community Health Run, which raises funds for Mama Kits.
Get in touchWe hold talks in villages and schools on malaria nets, clean water, nutrition, HIV, immunisation and going to the clinic early. Prevention is cheaper than treatment — most villagers know this; we help them act on it.

Enrol a schoolA medical emergency can drain a SACCO or stop a harvest. We enrol groups people already belong to — 603 families across 15 associations — so health and livelihood are protected together.
Partner with usPoverty pushes young people toward unsafe migration. We run awareness on safe travel, child protection and youth engagement — because health and safety in a community are connected.
